Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a Veteran who has been diagnosed with an intermediate stage of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in at least one eye
- You are between 65 and 89 years old
- You are willing and able to take part in the study's activities and assessments
- You have scored above 26 on a standard memory and thinking test, meaning your thinking and memory are considered to be in the normal range
- You do not have any serious conditions that affect your thinking or your ability to do light aerobic exercise (such as serious heart, liver, or kidney disease)
- You do not have any conditions or injuries that directly affect how your brain works (such as a serious head injury, stroke, epilepsy, or a progressive brain disease)
- You have reliable internet access at home
- English is your first language and you have completed high school
Who may not be able to join:
- You have vision problems in your eyes that are caused by something other than AMD
- You have a history of a major mental health condition, such as psychosis, severe depression, or bipolar disorder
- You currently have an alcohol or substance use disorder
- You have heart disease or have previously had a heart attack
