Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are currently pregnant at the time you sign up
- You live in the United States or Canada at the time you sign up
- You give verbal agreement to take part in the OTIS Pregnancy Registry
- You have been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis (eczema) at the time you sign up
- You agree to take part in follow-up interviews, possibly a physical exam of your baby (for the first 80 live births in the study), a developmental check for your child, and sharing of your medical records
- You may qualify for one of three groups: (1) if you have taken the medication tralokinumab at any point during pregnancy or up to about 16 weeks before you conceived; (2) if you have had light therapy or certain other medical treatments for your eczema during pregnancy or shortly before conceiving; or (3) if you have eczema but have not had light therapy or certain other medical treatments during pregnancy or shortly before conceiving
Who may not be able to join:
- You have already taken part in this study during a previous pregnancy (for the main study groups)
- You have been exposed to certain medications called methotrexate or mycophenolate mofetil during pregnancy or shortly before conceiving
- You are signing up after your pregnancy has already ended and you already know the outcome
- A medical test done before you sign up has confirmed a major physical birth defect in your baby (note: having had a normal or uncertain prenatal screening result does not automatically disqualify you — confirm with trial site)
- For the second comparison group: you have used tralokinumab, methotrexate, or mycophenolate mofetil during pregnancy or shortly before conceiving
- For the third comparison group: you have used tralokinumab, methotrexate, mycophenolate mofetil, light therapy, or certain other medical eczema treatments during pregnancy or shortly before conceiving
