Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Children and teenagers between 3 and 18 years old
  • Patients who have been diagnosed with Henoch-Schönlein Purpura (HSP) — a condition that affects the blood vessels — and are experiencing digestive system symptoms such as severe stomach cramping, a bowel blockage, or bleeding in the gut

  • Patients who are known to be allergic to the drug MMF (mycophenolate mofetil)
  • Patients who have a serious illness such as cancer, heart failure, liver or kidney failure, a weakened immune system, a severe infection, or who have had an organ transplant or need urgent surgery
  • Patients who have other digestive system conditions not related to HSP
  • Patients who have previously taken part in a clinical trial involving MMF
  • Patients who the research team considers unsuitable for any other reason (confirm with trial site)
