Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a man aged 18 or older.
- You racially identify as Black, or as multiracial including Black.
- You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer of any type.
- You have low-risk or intermediate-risk prostate cancer AND have a relevant family history — meaning a father, brother, or son with prostate cancer, or more than one close relative with prostate cancer, OR three or more cancers on the same side of your family (such as breast, colorectal, pancreatic, ovarian, or several others), especially if diagnosed at age 50 or younger (confirm with trial site).
- You have low-risk or intermediate-risk prostate cancer with a specific tissue pattern called "intraductal histology" found in your biopsy (confirm with trial site).
- You have high-risk, very high-risk, lymph node-positive, or metastatic (spread to other parts of the body) prostate cancer — regardless of family history.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have already had genetic testing done on a blood or saliva sample (called germline testing) related to inherited gene changes.
- You have had tumor-based genetic testing (testing done on the cancer tissue itself) that showed a gene change that may have been inherited (confirm with trial site).
