  • You have low blood pressure (below 110/60 mmHg)

  • You regularly (more than once a week) take long hot baths (over 30 minutes), or use a hot tub or sauna
  • You have resting blood pressure above 150/95 mmHg (this may affect whether you can take part in the exercise part of the trial)
  • You use extra oxygen to help with low oxygen levels in your blood (this may affect whether you can take part in the exercise part of the trial)
  • You have joint or muscle pain that would stop you from using a stationary exercise bike (this may affect whether you can take part in the exercise part of the trial)
