Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older, of any gender
- People who have been diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blood clot) within the past two months, including specific types such as lacunar, large-vessel, or cardioembolic strokes

- People who are legally able to give their own written consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to give written consent to participate

- People with severe memory loss, dementia, or severe disability that limits their ability to care for themselves
- People with severe heart failure (classified as NYHA Class III or IV — confirm with trial site)
- People with severely reduced kidney function, those on kidney dialysis, or those who are waiting for or have received a kidney transplant
- People who have been diagnosed with or treated for cancer in the past two years
- People who require blood-thinning medication (anticoagulants) now or who are expected to need them in the future
- People with significant heart rhythm problems, including certain irregular heartbeats or atrial fibrillation
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who do not agree to their anonymised personal data being stored and used for the study
