Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 to 75 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with esophageal cancer confirmed by laboratory tissue testing
- People for whom tumor tissue samples can be collected

- People who have another separate cancer diagnosis at the same time

- People who are currently taking, or have taken long-term, medications that affect the sympathetic nervous system (the part of the nervous system that controls automatic body responses such as heart rate) (confirm with trial site)
- People who have another cancer that currently requires systemic (whole-body) treatment
- People who have previously taken part in another clinical drug trial
- People who have brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) that are causing symptoms
