Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are pregnant and have an abnormal or non-naturally occurring mass or cyst near the ovaries that measures 5 cm (about 2 inches) or larger at its widest point
- If more than one mass is present, the one that looks most concerning — or the largest or easiest to examine by ultrasound — would be the one included in the study
- People who have previously taken part in this trial during a past pregnancy but now have a different mass in a new pregnancy
- People aged 18 years or older
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cyst is considered a normal, naturally occurring (physiological) cyst AND is smaller than 5 cm
- People whose mass is not located near the ovaries — for example, certain types of cysts that form around the abdominal lining (when the diagnosis of this is certain), or cancer that has spread through the abdomen without any mass near the ovaries
- People who do not give, or who withdraw, their written consent to participate
- People whose exact same cyst was already included in a previous round of this trial during a prior pregnancy
- People under 18 years of age
