Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are older than 18 years of age
- You are scheduled for a planned (non-emergency) surgery on the upper airway (such as the throat, nose, or mouth)
- You have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea (a condition where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a significant heart condition, such as an irregular heartbeat, blocked heart arteries, or heart failure
- You have a history of significant difficulty emptying your bladder, a blockage at the bladder outlet, or an enlarged prostate gland
- You have high blood pressure that is not well controlled
- You have epilepsy (a condition that causes seizures)

- You have attempted suicide or had thoughts of suicide in the past year, or are currently having thoughts of suicide
- You have a type of glaucoma called narrow angle glaucoma (a condition affecting pressure in the eye)
