Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have ongoing, symptomatic osteoarthritis in a finger's middle knuckle joint (called the PIP joint)
- People whose X-rays show signs of osteoarthritis in that joint, rated at a moderate to severe level using a standard medical grading system
- People who have physical signs of osteoarthritis in the affected finger knuckle joint
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have an inflammatory type of arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis)
- People who have an active infection in their hand
- People who would not be able to attend or participate in the required follow-up appointments and assessments
- People who have had an injection of steroids, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), or hyaluronic acid into the affected joint within the past 3 months before enrolling
