Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 55 and 90 years old
• You have memory problems affecting your ability to recall information, based on a specific memory test with scores adjusted for your level of education
• You have a score of 0.5 on a standard scale used to measure memory and thinking problems (CDR), with a memory-specific score of 0.5 or 1
• You score between 20 and 24 on a common mental ability test called the MMSE
• You are still able to manage everyday tasks (such as shopping, finances, or cooking) largely on your own
• You are in generally stable health
• You have tested positive for a protein in your blood linked to Alzheimer's disease (amyloid)
• You have a family member, friend, or carer who knows you well and can answer questions about you during the study
• You have no more than mild hearing loss (less than 40 decibels on a hearing test)
• You have been on a stable dose of any relevant medications (such as memory or mood medications) for at least 3 months before joining
• You are able to safely have an MRI scan

Who may not be able to join:

• You have had a stroke or have significant blood vessel-related brain disease (confirm with trial site)
• You score above 4 on a scale used to measure blood vessel-related causes of memory problems (confirm with trial site)
• You have a significant mental health condition
• You score above 10 on a standard depression questionnaire for older adults
• You have a history of alcohol or substance abuse
• You have any condition or implant that makes MRI scanning unsafe
