Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with Down syndrome

- People who have been diagnosed with dementia

- People with serious medical conditions such as cancer, a recent heart attack, stroke, recent angioplasty, or who are currently pregnant
- People who are not willing to be randomly assigned to a study group
- People who are unable to have an MRI scan — for example, due to metal implants or devices such as a pacemaker, claustrophobia, or being unable to lie flat on their back
- People who are currently taking GLP-1 medications (a type of medication sometimes used for diabetes or weight management)
- People who are currently taking anti-amyloid medications (a type of medication used in some brain-related conditions)
