Who might be able to join this trial:

- You have scored above 3.25 on a specific questionnaire section that measures eating in response to emotions, and this has been the case for at least three months
- Tracking your daily habits through short check-ins on your phone or device has confirmed that you experience two or more episodes of emotional eating per week on average
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently having thoughts of suicide with a plan or intention to act on them
- You have a diagnosed mental health condition, except for mood disorders (such as depression), anxiety disorders, or eating disorders — those conditions are acceptable
- You are currently receiving talking therapy (such as counselling or psychotherapy), or you have recently changed your psychiatric medication and are still adjusting to it
- You have a problem with substance misuse or abuse
- You have any health conditions or personal circumstances that would make it difficult for you to attend or complete all of the treatment sessions in the trial
