Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are being treated at one of the participating hospitals: Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli Hospital in Rome, Italy; Trillium-Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Canada; or Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada
- You are healthy enough to undergo major surgery to remove as much of the cancer as possible
- You have been newly diagnosed with suspected Stage III or Stage IV ovarian cancer (meaning the cancer has spread beyond the ovaries)
- You are scheduled for surgery after first receiving chemotherapy to shrink the cancer (sometimes called "interval surgery")
Who may not be able to join:
- Your cancer has been found to be at an earlier stage (Stage I or II), meaning it is still mostly confined to the pelvic area
- You are not well enough to have surgery
- There is not enough information available about your surgery results or cancer details
- Your ovarian cancer is of certain specific types, such as low-grade serous, clear cell, mucinous, or non-epithelial subtypes — if this information is known (confirm with trial site)
