Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate adenocarcinoma (a specific type of prostate cancer), confirmed by a laboratory test on tissue samples, including those whose cancer is being monitored without immediate treatment (called active surveillance) — a biopsy taken within the last six months before joining the trial is required.
- People aged 18 years or older (children and teenagers are not included because there is no safety data for this age group for the study supplement).
- People living with HIV who are on effective treatment and whose virus levels in the blood were undetectable within the last six months.
- People with a chronic hepatitis B infection whose virus levels in the blood are undetectable while on appropriate treatment.

- People who are on ongoing antiviral medication to manage herpes simplex virus (HSV).
- People who are scheduled to have their prostate surgically removed within the next 3 to 6 weeks.
- People who are able to understand the trial and are willing to sign a written consent form.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have already received treatment for prostate cancer, including hormone therapy.
- People with a documented active dependency on alcohol or illegal substances.
- People who are already taking urolithin A (sold as Mitopure, available in the United States) or pomegranate supplements (other supplements are permitted but must be recorded).
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial involving an investigational treatment.
- People who have had an allergic reaction to substances chemically or biologically similar to urolithin A.
- People with a serious illness that is not well controlled, or a mental health or personal situation that may make it difficult to follow the trial requirements.
