Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed by a doctor with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), which is when memory or thinking problems are noticed but are not severe enough to significantly affect daily life.
- You have been diagnosed by a doctor with Alzheimer's Disease.
- You have MCI or Alzheimer's Disease and your fasting blood sugar level is 100 mg/dL or higher (higher than the normal range).
- You have MCI or Alzheimer's Disease and have signs of low muscle mass, such as a smaller-than-normal calf size, a weak hand grip, or low muscle stamina.
- You are able to swallow tablets.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with cancer.
- You have a serious disease affecting your heart, lungs, liver, or kidneys.
- You have a severe physical disability or significant difficulty with speaking or understanding language.
- You are malnourished, meaning your body weight has changed by more than 5% within the past month.
- You are currently taking coenzyme Q10 supplements.
- You are currently taking the blood-thinning medication warfarin.
