Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 40 and 80 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis according to recognised clinical guidelines
- People who have had knee pain for 3 months or longer, with pain rated at a moderate-to-high level on a standard osteoarthritis pain scale

- People whose knee pain is caused by conditions other than osteoarthritis, such as an inflammatory disease, an autoimmune condition, or cancer
- People with abnormal liver or kidney function test results above a certain level (confirm with trial site)
- People with serious breathing or lung conditions
- People with a history of heart disease or heart failure
- People with high blood pressure or diabetes that is not well controlled
- People who have been diagnosed with cancer
- People who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or currently breastfeeding
