Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (specifically a type called adenocarcinoma)
• You are 18 years of age or older
• Your prostate cancer has been classified as "unfavorable intermediate risk" based on specific combinations of your PSA level, tumor stage, and biopsy results (confirm with trial site)
• You have had a genomic test called a Decipher score performed on your cancer
• At least one area of cancer is clearly visible on a special prostate MRI scan, rated as a score of 4 or 5 on a standard imaging scale

• Your testosterone level is at or above 150 ng/dL
• You are generally well enough to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation
• Your blood counts, kidney function, liver function, and certain other blood test results meet the required minimum levels (confirm specific values with trial site)
• If you take any medications that are known to lower the threshold for seizures, you have stopped or switched those medications at least 4 weeks before joining the study

Who may not be able to join:

• There is any sign that cancer is pressing on your spinal cord
• You have had a previous cancer in the pelvic area
• You have had radiation treatment to your pelvic area in the past
• You currently have another active cancer, other than certain treated skin cancers, a specific type of early-stage bladder cancer, or another cancer that has been fully treated with no signs of return
• You are unable to receive radiation therapy or hormone therapy
• Your prostate cancer is a rare type called small cell carcinoma
• You have inflammatory bowel disease or an active connective tissue/autoimmune disease affecting blood vessels
• You have a history of seizures, or a condition that may make seizures more likely (such as a stroke within the past year, or certain brain conditions)
• You have had serious heart problems, a heart attack, heart failure, blood clots, stroke, or a significant irregular heartbeat within the past 6 months
• You currently have uncontrolled high blood pressure
• You have a stomach or bowel condition that affects how your body absorbs medications
• You have a known active infection such as HIV or hepatitis
• You are currently taking certain medications that interact with a specific liver enzyme (CYP2D6) and cannot be safely adjusted (confirm with trial site)
• You have moderate or severe liver disease
• Your doctor determines that any other health condition makes participation unsuitable
