Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have long-term muscle stiffness or spasms (spasticity) that have not improved with standard treatments, or where standard treatments cannot be used, and where the problem is linked to one or more nerves in the spine.
- People aged 16 or older (if under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the consent form).
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to lie flat on their back during the planning and treatment sessions.
- People whose target nerve cannot be clearly seen on either a CT scan or an MRI scan.
- People who are confirmed to be pregnant (women of childbearing age who have an intact uterus and ovaries will be required to take a pregnancy test before the planning session).
