Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer at any stage (stage I to IV)
- People who are scheduled to have surgery to remove the prostate (any surgical method)
- People who have no restrictions on doing at least light physical activity, based on a standard health screening questionnaire called the PAR-Q+
- People who can speak and understand English
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- For the optional exercise part of the trial: people who are willing and able to commit to a 12-week program
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have medical conditions that could affect bladder control, such as neurological (nerve or brain) diseases
- People who have any medical reasons that would make exercise testing or training unsafe for them
- People who have changed medication used to help with bladder leakage within the past 6 months (for example, a medicine called Myrbetric)
- People who do not have regular access to the internet and a smartphone, tablet, or computer — either at home or at a community centre
- People who are already working with a pelvic floor physiotherapist in their community on a pelvic floor exercise program
