Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed as a "primary angle closure suspect," meaning a specific eye examination (gonioscopy, done in a dark room) shows that the drainage angle in the eye is partially blocked over at least half of its circumference, eye pressure is below 21 mmHg (within the normal range), there are no abnormal tissue attachments inside the eye, and there are no signs of glaucoma damage to the optic nerve

- People who have an artificial lens implanted in one or both eyes (for example, after cataract surgery)

- People who have glaucoma
- People who have uveitis (inflammation inside the eye)
- People with unstable conditions affecting the retina (the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye)
- People with cancers or tumours affecting the eye
- People with a condition called pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PEX), where a flaky material builds up inside the eye
- People with a condition called pigment dispersion syndrome (PDS), where pigment cells shed inside the eye
- People currently using corticosteroid (steroid) medications, either for the whole body (such as tablets or injections) or directly in or around the eye
