Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis (sudden inflammation of the pancreas)

- More than 30% of your pancreas shows dead or damaged tissue on your CT scan or MRI
- You have previously had dead or damaged tissue in your pancreas, including any surgery to remove it
- You have a history of a long-term form of pancreatitis that causes calcium deposits in the pancreas
- There are signs that you have an infection or blockage in your bile ducts
