Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older (for the first part of the study, you must be between 18 and 75 years old)
- You have been officially diagnosed with multiple myeloma according to established diagnostic guidelines
- You are generally able to carry out everyday activities with little to no limitation (a doctor will assess this using a standard scale)
- You are expected to live for at least 3 more months
- You are able to understand and sign a written consent form agreeing to take part in the study and all its procedures
Who may not be able to join:
- You have multiple myeloma that has spread to the brain or spinal fluid, or you are showing signs of this
- You have been diagnosed with a related but different blood or protein disorder, such as amyloidosis, plasma cell leukemia, Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia, POEMS syndrome, solitary plasmacytoma, or "smoldering" (early-stage, inactive) multiple myeloma
- You have had spinal cord compression causing significant physical limitations within the past 6 months, or this is expected to happen soon
- You have a history of a condition where your immune system does not work properly from birth (primary immunodeficiency)
- You have had another type of cancer within the past 3 years, unless it was a fully treated skin cancer (certain types), early-stage bladder cancer, early-stage prostate changes, early-stage cervical changes, or another slow-growing or non-invasive cancer (confirm with trial site)
