Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be an English speaker.
- You must be between 12 and 24 years old and have been admitted to the adolescent or young adult Partial Hospital Program (PHP) for eating disorders at Penn State Hershey.
- You must have an eating disorder diagnosis that involves anxiety or fear about gaining weight, such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or a similar but less clearly defined eating disorder that falls under a category called OSFED.
Who may not be able to join:
- You cannot participate if you are younger than 12 or older than 24 years old.
- You cannot participate if you do not speak English.
- You cannot participate if you have a cognitive impairment (a condition affecting thinking, memory, or understanding — confirm with trial site).
- You cannot participate if you do not have one of the eating disorder diagnoses described in the inclusion criteria above.
- You cannot participate if your eating disorder diagnosis is avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), because this condition does not typically involve anxiety about weight gain.
