Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are at least 18 years old
- People who have had a stroke on one side of the brain at least 3 months before joining the trial
- People who score an average of 4 or higher on a fatigue rating scale called the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS)
- People who have some ability to move the arm more affected by their stroke, as measured by a standard arm movement assessment (confirm with trial site)
- People who are able to follow and carry out a three-step instruction

- People who have an active or serious medical condition at the time of joining
- People who have any medical reason that would make brain stimulation techniques (tDCS or TMS) or MRI scanning unsafe for them
- People who have significant depression, as measured by a score above 10 on a standard questionnaire called the Patient Health Questionnaire-9
- People who have significant pain in their arms or hands that affects their ability to move them
- People who are taking medications that may affect their level of fatigue
