Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been confirmed through a tissue sample (biopsy) to have a type of prostate cancer called adenocarcinoma. Adenocarcinoma that also has small cell or neuroendocrine features is allowed, but purely small cell carcinoma or certain other rare types are not.
- People whose cancer can be measured or tracked using standard prostate cancer assessment methods.
- People who have either had their testicles surgically removed, or who are receiving ongoing hormone therapy (medication that lowers testosterone levels) to control their cancer, and who must continue this hormone therapy throughout the study.
- People who are generally well enough to carry out light activity and care for themselves, with little or no limitation on daily activities (this is based on a standard medical scoring system called the ECOG scale, scores 0 or 1).
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had an autoimmune disease (where the immune system attacks the body) at any point in the 12 months before signing the consent form.
