Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You have breast cancer and are planned to have chemotherapy before surgery (called neoadjuvant chemotherapy), followed by breast surgery that will include a procedure to check nearby lymph nodes (either a sentinel lymph node dissection or a targeted axillary lymph node dissection).
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had an allergic reaction or sensitivity to iron, dextran compounds, or a type of iron-based contrast agent called SPIO.
- You need to have an MRI scan to check how your tumour is responding to treatment.
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
- You have a medical condition that causes your body to store too much iron (an iron overload disease).
- You are currently under a legal guardianship order or have restrictions on your personal freedom.
- You are unable to understand the information provided, give your consent to take part, or take part in the study procedures.
