  • You are seeing a doctor because you or someone close to you has noticed problems with your thinking or memory, OR your doctor suspects you may have a progressive brain condition such as Alzheimer's disease or a similar illness.
  • Your main concern is memory problems, but it could also be difficulties with organisation, finding words, seeing and understanding your surroundings, or staying focused.
  • You are 40 years old or older.
  • You have been found to have mild or early-stage thinking and memory difficulties, ranging from slight personal concerns about your cognition to mild dementia.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have already been given a formal diagnosis of dementia.
  • You have a serious ongoing physical illness or organ problem that would make it hard to take part in the trial.
  • You are currently misusing alcohol or other substances in a significant way.
  • You are not willing to be assessed at a Memory clinic.
  • Your thinking and memory problems started suddenly as a direct result of a stroke.
  • Your thinking and memory difficulties can be clearly and fully explained by another condition, such as severe anaemia, an infection, serious lack of sleep, a psychotic disorder, moderate to severe depression, or alcohol misuse.
