Who might be able to join this trial:
People with severe asthma:
- You have severe asthma that requires high-dose inhaled steroids (at least 1600 micrograms of Budesonide per day) plus at least one other asthma controller medication.
- You have had at least 2 asthma attacks in the past year, or you take steroid tablets (like Prednisolone) at least half of the time, or your asthma symptoms are poorly controlled (based on a questionnaire score above 1.5).
- You meet your country's requirements to be considered for a special biologic asthma treatment.
People with mild or moderate asthma:

- You have no history of asthma, breathing problems, or allergies, have normal lung function, and have had no chest or respiratory infections in the past 4 weeks.
Who may not be able to join:

- You have a known allergy to the study medication or any of its ingredients.
- You have taken part in another clinical trial or received an experimental medicine within the past 3 months (or within a certain timeframe based on the medicine used).
- You have another significant health condition that is not well controlled, or that may affect your ability to take part in the study.
People with mild or moderate asthma:
- You are unable to read or understand written information due to language barriers.
- You are unable to give your own consent to take part in the study.
- Your asthma is currently poorly controlled (based on a questionnaire score above 1.5, use of steroid tablets, or an asthma attack in the past year).
Healthy volunteers:
- You are unable to read or understand written information due to language barriers.
- You are unable to give your own consent to take part in the study.
