Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Patients must be under 39 years old at the time of joining the study
  • Patients must have been diagnosed with any type of blood cancer (such as leukaemia or lymphoma)
  • Patients must already have a venous or arterial line in place (a thin tube inserted into a vein or artery) that can be used for blood draws during the study
  • Patients must weigh at least 5.5 kilograms at the time of joining
  • Patients must currently be taking venetoclax in liquid form (made from crushed tablets) taken by mouth, or through a nasogastric tube (a tube through the nose to the stomach) or G-tube (a tube directly into the stomach), as prescribed by their cancer doctor
  • Patients may be taking venetoclax on its own or alongside other cancer treatments

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are pregnant are not eligible, as venetoclax may be harmful to an unborn baby
  • People who are breastfeeding are not eligible, as venetoclax may pose risks to a nursing infant
  • People of reproductive age (male or female) who have not agreed to use an effective form of contraception throughout the study and for six months after the study treatment ends are not eligible
