Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a Veteran between 18 and 89 years old, of any racial or ethnic background
- You have had a confirmed COVID-19 infection, diagnosed at least 6 months ago, with that diagnosis recorded in your medical records
- You have had ongoing brain-related symptoms (such as "brain fog" or memory and thinking problems) that started within 3 months of getting COVID-19 and have lasted at least 8 weeks
- You are able to see and hear well enough to complete thinking and memory tests
- You are willing to take part in the trial for 8 months
- Your primary care doctor has approved you to take part in water-based exercise (such as pool exercise)
Who may not be able to join:
- You currently have a severe, uncontrolled mental health condition involving psychosis, as determined by a specific psychiatric interview tool
- You had a neurological condition (such as multiple sclerosis, seizures, or stroke), a brain-degenerating disease (such as Parkinson's or Alzheimer's), or a serious illness affecting brain function (such as liver failure, kidney failure, heart failure, or cancer) before your COVID-19 diagnosis
- You currently have a serious heart condition, such as uncontrolled irregular heartbeat, uncontrolled dangerous heart rhythms, active heart inflammation, severe heart failure, blood clots in the veins, a lung condition that causes your oxygen levels to drop dangerously during exercise, or a blood clot that has travelled to the lungs within the past 6 months (confirm with trial site)
- You are unable to take part in an exercise stress test
- You are unable to read, show that you understand, and sign the consent form on your own
