Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People who have been diagnosed with an acute ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blood clot blocking blood flow to the brain)
- People who are within 6 hours of when their stroke symptoms started
- People who have already received, or are planned to receive, a clot-dissolving medication given through a drip (intravenous thrombolytic therapy)

- People whose brain scan (CT or MRI) shows bleeding, abnormal blood vessels, tumours, abscesses, or other non-stroke brain conditions (such as multiple sclerosis)
- People with a history of blood clotting disorders, widespread bleeding, low platelet levels, or low white blood cell levels
- People with seriously reduced liver or kidney function, based on specific blood test results (confirm with trial site for exact thresholds)
- People who are allergic to Shuxuening injection or any product containing ginkgo biloba extract
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or women of childbearing age who test negative for pregnancy but are unwilling to use effective contraception during the trial
- People who have taken part in another clinical trial involving an experimental treatment within the last 30 days
- People considered unsuitable for the trial for any other reason, as assessed by the treating investigator
