Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with moderate-to-severe COPD (a serious lung condition), confirmed by specific breathing test results meeting GOLD Grade III or IV standards

  • People with a history of ongoing or long-term diarrhoea or constipation
  • People who have had surgery on any part of the digestive system (stomach, intestines, etc.)
  • People who have used probiotics or antibiotics in the past 4 weeks
  • People who have used oral steroid hormones or traditional Chinese medicine in the past 3 months
  • People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
