Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You have Crohn's disease with one or more confirmed narrowings (strictures) in your intestine that can be seen on imaging and reached by a camera (colonoscopy)
- If you have had a previous endoscopic procedure for a stricture, you must have been free of symptoms for at least one year since then
- You are experiencing a full or partial blockage in your intestine caused by the narrowing
- Standard medical treatments have not worked well enough for you
- The narrowing(s) in your intestine are each shorter than 5 cm in length
- You have no more than two of these narrowings
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- Your narrowing is complicated by abscesses (pockets of infection), fistulas (abnormal tunnels), or other active disease outside the narrowed area
- You have had a previous procedure (such as a stent or stretching/dilation) for a stricture, but it did not keep your symptoms under control for more than one year
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are unable to have an endoscopic (camera) procedure for any reason
- You have a serious blood clotting problem, such as a very low platelet count or a high INR (confirm with trial site)
- You have an advanced-stage cancer or another serious long-term illness affecting your overall health
