Who might be able to join this trial:

For young people:

• People aged 12 to 25 years old
• People who have been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa (restrictive or mixed type) based on recognised diagnostic standards (DSM-5)
• People who have been prescribed psychiatric medications — such as antidepressants and/or a type of medication called atypical antipsychotics — as part of their care, whether they are still taking them or stopped before this study began

For parents:

• Parents of a young person with anorexia nervosa who has been prescribed psychiatric medication, where the young person meets the criteria listed above

For healthcare professionals:

• Health professionals who work with young people who have eating disorders

Who may not be able to join:

For young people:

• People whose eating disorder does not meet the specific diagnostic criteria for restrictive or mixed anorexia nervosa
• People with a BMI below 15
• People who have been prescribed an antidepressant that is not from the SSRI (a common type of antidepressant) category
• People who have been prescribed certain psychiatric medications specifically to treat symptoms of psychosis
