Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been clinically diagnosed with an acute ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain)

  • People with an ongoing significant blood clotting disorder, a history of bleeding disorders, other conditions that raise the risk of bleeding, or active uncontrolled bleeding
  • People who have had a stroke in the 90 days before enrolling
  • People who are unable to have a specialised brain scan (a contrast perfusion scan using either MRI or CT)
