Who may not be able to join:

  • Your breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body (stage IV or metastatic)
  • You have previously received cancer treatment or radiotherapy for any cancer, unless it was a fully cured early-stage skin cancer or cervical pre-cancer
  • You are currently taking part in another clinical trial that involves cancer treatment, including hormone therapy, bone-strengthening drugs, or immunotherapy
  • You had a major surgery unrelated to breast cancer within the 4 weeks before joining, or you have not fully recovered from such a surgery
  • You have a serious heart condition, such as heart failure, uncontrolled irregular heartbeat, chest pain requiring medication, significant heart valve problems, a previous full-thickness heart attack shown on a heart tracing, or poorly controlled high blood pressure
  • You have difficulty swallowing, a blocked bowel, or any other condition that would stop you from taking or absorbing the trial medication
  • You have a known allergy to any of the drugs used in this trial, a weakened immune system (including HIV), another immune deficiency condition, or a history of organ transplant
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, have tested positive on a pregnancy test at the start of the trial, or are unwilling to use effective contraception during the trial and for 7 months after your last dose
  • You have other serious health conditions that could interfere with the treatment, or the trial doctor feels the trial is not appropriate for you for any other reason
