Who might be able to join this trial:
- You can be male or female.
- You are 40 years old or older.
- You have been diagnosed with mild to moderate primary open-angle glaucoma, pseudoexfoliation glaucoma, or pigmentary glaucoma.
- You have a cataract that affects your vision and is suitable for a common type of cataract removal surgery called phacoemulsification.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a type of glaucoma where the drainage angle in the eye is closed or narrow (called angle closure glaucoma).
- You have a secondary form of glaucoma caused by another condition, such as an eye injury, inflammation, abnormal blood vessels, certain medications (like steroids), or blood vessel disorders (confirm with trial site).
- You were born with glaucoma or developed it during childhood or development.
- You have previously had surgery inside the eye, a surgical procedure for glaucoma, or any type of eye laser treatment — unless the laser treatment was a specific procedure called selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) that took place at least 6 months before your screening appointment.
