Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are older than 18 years of age
- People who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, Crohn's disease confirmed by a tissue biopsy
- People who are able to provide written consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have electrical implants in their body, such as a cardiac pacemaker or a pump that delivers medication
- People who have metal implants or objects in or on their body, such as surgical clips, artificial heart valves with steel parts, metal fragments, shrapnel, metallic tattoos anywhere on the body, tattoos near the eye, or steel implants
- People whose kidneys are not functioning well enough, based on a blood test result taken within the past 90 days (confirm with trial site)
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding; a pregnancy blood test will be required for women who could potentially be pregnant before participation is confirmed
- People who have a history of claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces) or any other condition that would make it difficult to lie still inside a scanning machine for the length of the exam
- People who have already been exposed to a significant amount of radiation through research studies in the past 12 months, beyond the levels set by the Radiation Safety Committee
- People with a BMI greater than 33, due to the weight and size limits of the scanning equipment
- People who have other medical conditions known to cause scarring or thickening of tissue in the abdomen, such as retroperitoneal fibrosis, mesenteric panniculitis, or desmoid tumors, which could affect the scan results
- People whom the study investigators consider to be unsuitable for the trial for clinical reasons, based on their screening visit or during the study
