Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with oligometastatic prostate cancer (cancer that has spread to a limited number of sites) detected by a specific type of scan called a PSMA PET scan, with no more than 5 bone metastases and/or no more than 3 lung metastases
- People who are generally well enough to carry out daily activities with little or no assistance, based on a standard medical scoring system (ECOG score of 0 or 1)
- People whose blood test results show that their bone marrow is producing enough blood cells — including white blood cells, platelets, and red blood cells — at levels above specified thresholds
- People whose kidneys are working well enough, as measured by a blood test that checks kidney function and protein levels
- People who are able to provide written consent to participate in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial involving a medical treatment or intervention
- People who have other serious medical or cancer-related conditions that would mean they are not expected to live for the full duration of the trial
- People whose PSMA PET scan does not show that the prostate cancer has spread beyond the prostate
- People whose PSMA PET scan shows more than 5 bone metastases
- People whose cancer has spread to organs other than the lungs (such as the liver)
- People who are older than 75 years of age
- People who are currently receiving, or have previously received, hormone therapy to lower testosterone levels (known as androgen deprivation therapy)
- People who have significant physical or mental health conditions that could interfere with the trial's goals or assessments
- People who have a complete blockage of urinary flow or severe urinary incontinence that cannot be managed
