Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with stage I, II, or III breast cancer and are scheduled to receive chemotherapy through a drip (IV) before surgery, at the MUMC+ hospital
  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are generally able to carry out normal daily activities with little or no limitation (this is measured using a standard scale — confirm with trial site)
  • You have a good enough understanding of the Dutch language to participate

  • You are using or planning to use a scalp cooling cap during chemotherapy (a device used to reduce hair loss)
  • You have a condition that seriously prevents you from doing physical exercise
  • You have been assessed by your doctor as not being able to make your own medical decisions, or if there is any doubt about this
