Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 40 and 85 years old who have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis lasting more than 3 months
- People whose knee X-ray shows a Kellgren and Lawrence Score of 2 or higher (a measure of joint damage visible on imaging — confirm with trial site if unsure of your score)
- People whose knee pain falls within a specific range on a pain scale, rated between 4 and 8 out of 10
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had orthopaedic surgery on either leg
- People who have been found to have cognitive (thinking or memory) difficulties, based on a standard assessment score below 23
- People who have received any treatment for knee osteoarthritis within the last 6 months
- People who are currently following a regular exercise program such as tai chi, pilates, yoga, or fitness training
- People who have a history of ligament injury around the knee
