Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been recently diagnosed with prostate cancer for the first time (any level of risk)
• People whose prostate cancer has been confirmed through a tissue sample (biopsy), showing a specific type of prostate cancer cell (not a rare type called neuroendocrine)
• People whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body only to a limited degree — fewer than 4 spots on the bones and no spread to internal organs such as the liver or lungs

• People who are generally well and able to carry out normal daily activities (rated 0 or 1 on a standard medical fitness scale)
• People whose doctors consider them suitable for treatment directed at the prostate as well as ongoing whole-body treatment
• People who have signed a consent form agreeing to take part

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are unable or unwilling to sign a written consent form
• People whose cancer has spread widely through the body (high-volume spread, as defined by a standard research guideline called CHAARTED criteria)
• People who are not well enough to carry out basic daily activities (rated above 1 on the standard medical fitness scale)
• People who are already participating in another clinical trial
• People for whom hormone therapy or other systemic treatments are medically not suitable
• People who have already had surgery, radiation, or any other treatment directed at their prostate tumour
