Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a man or a woman who is not pregnant, between the ages of 40 and 90 years old
- You need a full knee replacement for the first time (not a revision or repeat procedure)
- Your surgeon has determined that a type of knee replacement that keeps a certain ligament in the knee (the cruciate ligament) is suitable for you
- Your main knee diagnosis is osteoarthritis (wear-and-tear arthritis)
- The supporting ligaments on the sides of your knee are intact and working
- You are able to have a CT scan of your affected leg
- You are willing and able to attend the required check-up appointments before and after your surgery
- You have read, understood, and signed the official consent form for this study
Who may not be able to join:
- You have previously had a full or partial knee replacement, or your knee joint has been surgically fused
- You have had a previous surgery on the bone around your knee to correct its alignment (called an osteotomy)
- You are very severely overweight, with a BMI greater than 41
- Your knee condition requires special additional implant parts such as stems, wedges, or augments (confirm with trial site)
- Your knee bends inward by 15 degrees or more (a condition called varus deformity)
- Your knee bends outward by more than 3 degrees (a condition called valgus deformity)
- You have a condition affecting your nerves or muscles that could make it difficult to properly assess how well the knee implant is working
- You are not able to speak German
- You are pregnant
