Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years or older and have been diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that has come back or stopped responding to treatment
- You are 18 years or older with newly diagnosed high-risk B-cell ALL with specific genetic features, including: a gene change called KMT2A rearrangement, complex chromosome abnormalities, an abnormal number of chromosomes (low-hypodiploidy/tetraploidy), or a type called Philadelphia-like ALL based on certain genetic markers (confirm with trial site)
- Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities meets a standard level of functioning (rated 0, 1, or 2 on a common medical scale)
- Your kidneys, liver, and other organs are working well enough based on specific blood test results
- Your cancer cells test positive for a protein called CD19 on more than 50% of cells before joining the trial
- You have a chronic viral infection such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV, but it is being treated and is currently under control
Who may not be able to join:
- Your B-cell ALL has a specific genetic change called the Philadelphia chromosome
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, or you are a woman who could become pregnant and do not have a negative pregnancy test result
- You have previously received a treatment called brexu-cel or any other CAR T-cell therapy targeting CD19
- You have an active infection or other serious uncontrolled medical condition, as assessed by your doctor
- You are unwilling or unable to sign the consent form for the trial
- You have received another experimental treatment within the past 14 days
