  • People in the healthy control group: those who have no asthma symptoms and no signs of airway sensitivity on testing

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are unable to give informed consent
  • People who have smoked within the last 6 months before their first study visit
  • People who have used the medication dupilumab within the 6 months before their first study visit
  • People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People in the chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps group: those who currently use asthma medication, or who have eGPA (the blood vessel condition mentioned above)
  • People in the healthy control group: those who regularly use anti-inflammatory treatments applied directly to the body (such as steroid nasal sprays or inhalers)
  • People in the healthy control group: those who use medications that suppress the immune system
  • People in the healthy control group: those who have used antibiotics within the month before the study screening visit
