  • People whose cancer is HER2-positive or triple-negative breast cancer (specific tumour biology types)
  • People with a tumour larger than 15 mm
  • People whose cancer has spread to the lymph nodes
  • People who have already received chemotherapy before surgery for this cancer
  • People under 50 years of age
  • People whose cancer includes a pre-invasive component called DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ)
  • People who are not able to understand or follow the study requirements for psychological or cognitive reasons
  • People who are unable to have an MRI scan
  • People who have breast implants
