Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 12 and 70 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with an active B-cell related autoimmune disease, specifically lupus (SLE), a type of blood vessel inflammation (AAV), inflammatory muscle disease (IIM), or systemic sclerosis (SSc), confirmed by standard medical tests.
- Your disease is moderate to severe, and at least two previous treatments have not worked well enough for you.
- Your heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and other organs are working well enough to handle the treatment.
- You are able to give your agreement to take part (or, if under 18, a parent or guardian can give consent on your behalf) and are able to follow the study's requirements.
Who may not be able to join:
- Women who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
- People who have significant problems with their heart, lungs, liver, or kidneys.
- People who have had a serious infection recently or currently have one.
- People who have or recently had cancer, have previously received a type of cell therapy called CAR T-cell therapy, or have had an organ transplant.
- People who have a known allergy to any of the treatments used in this study.
- People who weigh less than 50 kg (110 lbs).
