Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have weakness or loss of movement in one arm or hand caused by a stroke (either a blocked or bleeding stroke), confirmed by a brain scan
• People whose stroke happened more than three months ago
• People who are unable to actively open their hand or extend their fingers enough to voluntarily pick up a standard-sized empty glass using a full-hand grip, but who can passively hold the glass when it is placed in their hand
• People whose hand can be opened wide enough to grip the glass when a special assistive glove is put on, and who can actively close their hand
• People who are able to put on and take off the SaeboGlove® assistive gripping glove, with help from another person if needed
• People who own or have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer that supports video recording and video calls
• People who have given free, fully informed, and signed consent to participate (or whose legal guardian has done so), before any study procedures begin
• People who are covered by, or entitled to benefits from, a social security system

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have tightness or stiffness in the fingers or wrist that prevents full straightening of the fingers and thumb when the wrist is at a 15-degree extended position
• People with moderate or severe muscle spasticity (stiffness) in the wrist and finger flexor muscles, as measured by a standard clinical scale (Modified Ashworth Scale score of 3 or higher)
• People who cannot fully straighten their elbow enough to reach their knee on the same side while seated upright
• People whose shoulder can be raised forward by less than 15 degrees actively
• People with other conditions affecting the arm or hand that could interfere with taking part in the study
• People who do not have access to video call technology, or who cannot be reached remotely
• People with severe communication difficulties affecting understanding of language, as measured by a standard assessment (BDAE score of 3 or below) (confirm with trial site)
• People with moderate or severe swelling in the wrist or hand
• People with a latex allergy
• People who have had surgery on the affected arm or hand within the last 6 months
• Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who are currently detained or incarcerated
• People who are under a court-ordered legal protection arrangement
• People whose physical or mental health condition makes it impossible to ensure they have fully understood the study information or can reliably follow the study requirements
