Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have a brain or nervous system cancer that is causing nausea or vomiting
  • People who are already experiencing nausea or vomiting at a moderate or severe level before the trial begins
  • People who have a known allergy to the study drug, anti-nausea medications, or the steroid dexamethasone
  • People who are afraid of electroacupuncture (a type of needle-based therapy that uses mild electrical stimulation), or who are allergic to stainless steel needles
  • People who have received acupuncture treatment for any reason within the 8 weeks before starting chemotherapy
